Announcement: Topic Prefixes & Author Moderation

Topic Prefixes are badges that you can use in designated areas to reflect the current status of a thread or content submission. Author Moderation is simply the application of Topic Prefixes with additional automatic actions, such as a descriptive post notifying of the application of a Prefix.

Topic Prefixes work hand in hand with Author Moderation to help keep things organized and to reduce the transparency of the current status of a thread or content. Please use these wherever it makes sense! But first, read the articles linked to above to ensure that you're using these where you should. And why not test these out before giving them a go?

Have an idea for a new Prefix, or think that an existing Prefix should be adopted in other areas? Simply drop a message. Of the ideas we read, we'll implement whatever we think makes sense and would be sufficiently helpful to have.

Remember that persistent abuse of either of these features could result in disciplinary action taken to the abuser's account!
